“Accubrew is a subscription service because we value your privacy. AccuBrew will never use invasive ads or collect, share, or sell personal information to cover the costs of server space, support, or backend development. What’s yours is yours!”
The AccuBrew system is a visible light in-tank sensor controlled through an online portal that combines and securely stores fermentation sensor data and Brewer’s Notes to create an historical record to help brewers compare batches to ensure consistency and continuously improve their products. Fermentation data is accessible across devices 24/7 to share with staff, collaborating breweries, or, if you are a contract brewery, your customers.
The AccuBrew sensor requires an online portal to record and store the data to improve your products and provide the apps necessary to monitor, compare, and share data. The apps powering the AccuBrew system will always be a work in progress. To support continued development of the app and device firmware, a decision was made to be a monthly subscription service as opposed to relying on intrusive popup ads or selling users personal info. Subscriptions also reduce the upfront cost of the sensor, making getting started more affordable.
The CIP ready AccuBrew sensor is a stainless steel, water resistant IoT device that mounts through a standard 1.5” TC port. It contains a highly accurate temperature sensor and uses low intensity visible light to monitor and detect changes in total sugar content, clarity, and temperature. The sensor does not emit UV light; it will not trigger photooxidation.
AccuBrew automatically makes 96 measurements every day, reducing manual testing by 80% by monitoring changes in total sugars. 3 AccuBrew sensors can save a typical brewery 64 hours a year, valued at $1000.00 annually. Now instead of just one daily test, brewers have 96 opportunities every day to quickly react to out-of-range conditions and turn tanks at the right time, every time. AccuBrew does not measure specific gravity at this time. This feature will be released soon!
Every 15 minutes the CIP ready, WiFi connected sensor records the temperature and emits visible light. Based on the amount of light returned to the sensor, fermentation, and clarity, profiles are created, along with the temperature profile. These profiles, along with Brewer’s Notes, are used to compare batches to detect and understand changes in process, maintain consistency, provide oversight, and continuously improve.
Yes! Brewers set over/under temperature alerts. If either measured value deviates beyond the set values an alert is sent to brewers’ phones. Brewers can then take immediate action to protect the batch and schedule. And remember, just one AccuBrew sensor helps protect every tank in the event of a power failure or glycol system failure.
The AccuBrew sensor is powered by a low voltage power adapter connected to an IP69K rated fitting by a 10 meter food grade cord. The sensor is equipped with a battery backup and offline storage to continue recording for 6-8 hours in the event of a power or internet failure.
The AccuBrew sensor has a 6 to 8 hour battery backup and the onboard memory can store multiple tests to protect data. In the event of a power failure, the sensor will continue to test and record for 6-8 hours. Once power and WiFi are restored, the sensor automatically uploads the stored data.
