Does the sensor require an internet connection?

Yes. The AccuBrew sensor connects to the internet to receive start/stop commands and upload data to your account. The sensor connects to the internet through your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router. The sensor should remain connected to your Wi-Fi router when in use.
